About Bobby Adams

Bobby Adams Robert "Bobby" Adams is CEO/President of Global Security Systems (GSS) headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi. Mr. Adams founded Adcom (Adams Communications) in 1985; at that time he was using the numeric MBS protocol. Mr. Adams played a very important role in lobbying to have RBDS become an approved and accepted standard in the United States. He gained significant management experience while being the founder and President of American Transport, the 3rd largest trucking companies in Louisiana behind Acme and Howard in 1995 with 250 employees. Further, it is in this context that the original need for point to multipoint messaging for drivers was identified. His years of experience in the communications industry include accomplishments such as; working for RDS/RBDS approval in the U.S (1993), manufacturing the only RBDS FM data receiver in the U.S., installation and testing of the FM system in over 20 foreign markets, installation of an 11-State system on the Pacific Coast of the US, and negotiating and signing of the worlds first exclusive arrangement between an equipment manufacturer and a wireless communications carrier.

Mr. Adams particular experience and background, as one of the pioneers in FM Data and one of the principal leaders in the field, gives his new venture ALERT FM a unique position as a system provider in the industry and opportunities that go beyond the current marketplace into the realm of tomorrow.
